An ancient portal opened deep in some ruins.. You're sent in with the one weapon that can surely extinguish this flame of evil.. A squirt gun.


A twin stick shooter made for My First Game Jam Summer 2018, with the theme of "water." I had a lot more planned, a bunch of assets and animations, humanoid character and all, but time ran away from me and life uh, finds a way - to get in the way. I learned a lot, even if I wasn't able to meet the expectations I had set for myself with this game. Let me know if you think I should continue working on it or not. Thanks so much!


Control should switch from KB+M to controller just by pressing a key or button on the device.

Controls are currently...

Move:

WASD / Left stick

Aim:

Mouse / Right stick

Shoot:

Left click / Right trigger

Reload:

R / left face button (X on xbox \ sqaure on playstation)


Some things on the future to do list... Add a big final countdown in the last few seconds, traps / holes to avoid, sound fx (!!!), alter the math to make scoring more interesting, attribute the art I used, and fix the smoke particle/sfx that isn't working right, and more.

Hey there! Nice work on what you got done. 

I was thinking maybe there could be spawn points for the fire demons that you have to destroy. That would give you something to push forward for.  The idea of traps/pits sounds good too. Maybe you could even choose to fill a pit with water to make it an offensive trap to kill demons in?

Thanks Cam! Yeah perhaps I'll do some portals that open up in different locations as spawn points, and I love the offensive trap idea!
